Subject: Excellent Jazz
The drums are a bit loud compared to the vibes, but this is still a great show that has really good instrumentation.

Get this show! Found it on the staff picks and I higly recomend it!

Subject: Real nice.... great extended jams!
Glad I found this in staff picks. Excellent sound and great musicianship. It just flows and flows. These guys really can jam.

Subject: Concurrence with offsite review
I had earlier noted a positive review of this item elsewhere.

I've had a chance to listen and can give this jazz combo a strong thumbs up myself! The musicians are able and focused, not aimless. Folks who enjoy MMW or John Scofield for example might want to give this a listen (there's even a Scofield cover).

I loved the vibes; my main quibble is that at times the sax and vibes lines lie too close together, the sax obscuring the more delicate tones of the other instrument.

Subject: 3 1/2 stars
Good effort, but the drums (or drummer) definitely need to be toned down a bit. Worth the d/l, anyhow. Personally I like it a little better than the 3/21/05 show.
